Why Openfield

No walls. No fixed path. Just space to grow into who you're becoming.

The Name

'Openfield' is an open field - no walls, no fixed path, just space to explore in your own way. 'Academy' means we take that exploration seriously: structured, substantial learning, not random inspiration.

The name holds two fields. An inner one - the potential you feel in your body, your heart, your own sense of being unlimited. An outer one - the possibilities held in your environment, your relationships, the world around you. Let's bring both potentials together.

Axel Schrauder - The Man Behind Openfield

Axel Schrauder situated in south Bavaria/Germany brings more than 35 years of experience guiding people through change - as an osteopath, coach, and certified HeartMath Health and Trauma Sensitive Professional. He has been part of Dr. Joe Dispenzas Health Coalition and his approach isn't academic; it's lived - through decades as a meditation and qigong teacher, work with Shaolin monks, and training as a group facilitator with the Hero's Journey Foundation and more. He doesn't speak from theory, but from a life that knows both the breakthroughs and the ordinary Tuesdays.

A Few More Layers

Four glimpses into the experiences behind Axel's practice:

Our Approach - Integration, Not Just Information

Openfield Academy doesn't hand you new theories. We build bridges between what you already know and what you can actually live, day to day - through body-based practice, science you can trust, tools that fit real life, and a sense of inner direction that grows clearer over time.

How Change Really Works

"And the moment you feel uncomfortable, you just stepped into the river of change."
Joe Dispenza

Real change doesn't move in a straight line - it comes in stages and waves. Some days it moves fast, other days it feels stuck no matter how hard you try. That's normal, not failure. What matters most is staying with it long enough for the new version of you to become automatic, not willpower alone.
