1. What Openfield Academy is for
The trainings, videos, worksheets, social media posts and all other content of Openfield Academy are intended to support self-help, self-reflection, self-regulation and personal growth. They are about wellbeing, about arriving in yourself, and about treating yourself with more care and appreciation. All content is educational and inspirational in nature.

2. Not medical or therapeutic advice
Our content is not medical, psychotherapeutic or other healthcare advice, and it is not a diagnosis or treatment of any illness, condition or complaint. Axel Schrauder appears in Openfield Academy as a coach and as a person sharing his life experience, not as a physician, therapist or practitioner treating health problems. Using our content does not create a doctor–patient, therapist–client or any other treatment relationship. It does not replace examination, diagnosis or treatment by a physician, psychotherapist or other licensed healthcare professional.

3. Medicine is part of the open field
At Openfield, we see medicine as an essential part of the open field of your life – and as a part no one can fully cover on their own. That is what specialists are there for. If you notice symptoms, pain or changes in your physical or emotional health, please consult a physician or another recognized specialist – rather too early than too late. Please do not stop, delay or change any medical treatment or medication because of something you have seen, heard or read here.

4. Emergencies and crisis
Openfield content is not designed for acute situations. If you are experiencing a medical emergency or an emotional crisis, or if you have thoughts of harming yourself, please contact your local emergency number immediately (e.g. 112 in Europe, 911 in the US) or a crisis service in your country.

5. Movement and physical practices
Some trainings include breathing exercises, walking, Qigong, movement or fitness practices. You take part voluntarily and at your own responsibility. Listen to your body, stay within a range that feels comfortable, and stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath or any other discomfort. If you have a pre-existing condition, an injury, are pregnant, or are unsure whether a practice is right for you, please talk to your physician before you begin.

6. Fasting and nutrition
Before you change your diet, fast or start a weight-loss program, please consult your physician – especially if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, take medication, have a chronic condition (such as diabetes, heart or kidney disease), are underweight, have a history of eating disorders, or are under 18 years of age.

7. No guaranteed results
Every person and every path is different. We do not promise any specific results, healing or outcomes. Experiences and examples shared in our content are individual and not a guarantee of similar results.

8. Your own responsibility
You decide which practices you use, how and when. You remain responsible for your own health decisions and actions.

9. Liability
Our liability is governed by the Limitation of Liability section of our [Terms of Use]. In particular, we remain liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health.

10. Questions
