("we", "us", "our").

Openfield Academy is an online academy for personal development. We offer self-paced digital trainings (pre-recorded videos and downloadable worksheets) that support self-reflection, self-regulation and wellbeing, as well as free content such as a newsletter, a free challenge and a self-reflection questionnaire. There are no live or group sessions in the online trainings.

Our offers are aimed at consumers. Any deviating terms of the customer do not apply.

2. Eligibility

Our Services are intended for persons who are at least 18 years old.

3. Conclusion of contract

The presentation of our trainings on the website does not constitute a binding offer. By clicking the order button at checkout, you submit a binding offer to purchase the selected training. The contract is concluded when we confirm your order by email or give you access to the purchased content, whichever occurs first.

The contract language is English. You can view these Terms of Use at any time on our website and save or print them.

4. Prices and payment

The prices shown at checkout apply. They are final prices; any applicable VAT is included. All trainings are sold as one-time purchases; there are no subscriptions.

Payment is made using the payment methods offered at checkout. Payments are processed by our payment provider (Kajabi Payments / Stripe).

5. Access and use of the digital content

After successful payment, you receive access to the purchased training via your personal customer account. Access is available for 12 months from the date of purchase. After this period, access ends automatically; no further payment is due.

Please keep your login details confidential. Your access is personal and may not be shared with others.

Worksheets provided for download may be downloaded and printed for your personal use only.

6. Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer, you have a statutory right of withdrawal. Details, including the conditions under which the right of withdrawal expires early for digital content, are set out in our Cancellation Policy: https://www.openfield.academy/right-of-withdrawal

7. Intellectual property

All content of our Services, including videos, audio, texts, worksheets, graphics and logos, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights and belongs to us or our licensors. With your purchase, you receive a simple, non-transferable right to use the purchased content for your personal, non-commercial purposes. Any further use requires our prior written consent.

8. Prohibited activities

You may not:

  • share your login details or give other people access to your account;
  • sell or otherwise transfer your account;
  • copy, record, download or redistribute any training content, including videos and audio (worksheets may be downloaded and printed for personal use only and may not be shared with others);
  • resell, publish or share training content on other websites, social media or platforms;
  • use training content to create or offer your own courses, trainings, coaching or other commercial services;
  • upload training content to AI tools or services to reproduce or repurpose it;
  • use the Services to advertise or offer to sell goods or services;
  • circumvent technical measures that protect the content or restrict access;
  • use bots, scrapers or other automated means to access the Services;
  • use the Services in violation of applicable law.

9. Feedback

If you send us suggestions or feedback about our Services, we may use them free of charge to improve our offers.

10. Health & Wellbeing Disclaimer

Openfield Academy trainings and content support self-help, self-reflection, self-regulation and wellbeing. They are not medical, psychotherapeutic or other healthcare advice, diagnosis or treatment, and they do not replace a physician, psychotherapist or other licensed professional. We do not promise any specific results or healing. Participation in movement, breathing or other practices is voluntary and at your own responsibility. If you notice symptoms, please consult a physician or recognized specialist early. Our full Health & Wellbeing Disclaimer is available at https://www.openfield.academy/disclaimer and forms part of these Terms.

11. Availability and changes to the content

We strive to keep our Services available at all times. Temporary interruptions, for example due to maintenance or technical problems beyond our control, may occur.

We may update or change purchased digital content only where permitted by law, in particular where there is a valid reason for the change, it comes at no additional cost to you, and we inform you clearly about it. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

12. Warranty

The statutory warranty rights for digital content apply.

13. Limitation of liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the German Product Liability Act, and to the extent we have given a guarantee. In cases of slight negligence, we are liable only for the breach of an essential contractual obligation. This is an obligation whose fulfillment makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on which you may regularly rely. In that case, our liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Otherwise, our liability is excluded. These limitations also apply to our legal representatives and vicarious agents.

14. Suspension of access

We may suspend or terminate your access for good cause, in particular in the event of a serious breach of these Terms (such as sharing your account or redistributing training content). Where reasonable, we will warn you first. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

15. Third-party websites

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites. We have no influence on their content and are not responsible for it. The terms and privacy policies of those websites apply.

16. Privacy

Information on how we process your personal data can be found in our Privacy Policy: https://www.openfield.academy/privacy-policy

17. Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms for future purchases. Changes do not affect contracts already concluded unless you agree to them. We will inform existing customers about relevant changes by email.

18. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which you have your habitual residence. For consumers, the statutory rules on jurisdiction apply.

19. Dispute resolution

The European Commission provides information on consumer redress, including a list of dispute resolution bodies by country: https://consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu/index_en. If you have a complaint, please contact us first at [email protected] – we will do our best to find a solution with you.

20. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is or becomes invalid, the remaining provisions remain unaffected. The statutory provisions apply in place of the invalid provision.
